It's pirate season, kabalens. The Pirate story is grabbing all purses and catching millions of dollars on the silver screen. At bambanense.com, we've decided to pirate the pirate story and have our kabalens come up with the ending. Figure out what the ending is and add not more than 3 pages to the story, using Times New Roman font 12. Make us laugh at our computer screens as your story screams at us from cyber space. We will publish all the endings that deserve to be posted. We reserve the right to make this choice. This is not a contest but an exercise in the creativity of our kabalens and for our other kabalens to appreciate this talent.

Porung Pirata
Porung P. Pirata was born at an early age, an age when children could not tell the difference between good and bad. His father was a pirate and so was his grandfather and his great-grandfather. It was the family business. He would have wanted to be a seaman and earn a decent living but he could not afford to pay the recruiter's fee. Besides, he made more money as a pirate and could sleep as often as he wanted to. He heard that as a seaman, one had to actually work!

"This is a no brainer!" he decided.

At age 16, he announced to his Papa that he, too, wanted to join the family business. Besides, he thought that as the only pirate family from Bamban, he might make it into the virtual world of Bambanense.com one of these days.

One day, the huge pirate ship named "Pamilya Pir-ata" was replenishing food supplies at Culion Island. Porung Pirata was sitting at the docks playing with his marbles when a sea gull landed next to him.

"Give me some water," the sea gull squeaked.

Porung was surprised and he exclaimed, "But you live near the sea all your life. You're surrounded by water!"

"Water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink," replied the sea gull.

The kind-hearted Porung gave the sea gull some water. After the sea gull's thirst was quenched and its body drenched with refreshing water, it settled on Porung's side.

It began to sing, then it squawked, "Reach into my bill."

Porung did as he was told and peered in his palm. On it rested a silver marble that glinted in the sun. He closed his right eye and looked at it with his good left eye. It still looked like a silver marble.

"What's this?" he asked as he turned to look at the sea gull.

Before he was even able to finish his sentence, the sea gull took flight and was gone. Just then, his Papa called and said the ship is leaving. Porung hurriedly pocketed the silver marble as he ran up the plank back to the ship he has learned to call home.

Poing
It's been said that pink pingpong balls do not have a life. This is
absolutely not true as we adjust our binoculars and follow the
adventures of one hot tamale called Poing. Milyari pu ini king
Poping City. Poing, the hero of our story, is a young, energetic, neon
pink pingpong ball who fell off the shopping cart of Mrs. Gammie Behr.

"Aray!" cried Poing, as he bounced off the rough surface of the parking lot.
As he was bouncing hither and yonder in the parking lot, the
department story sliding door opened wide and out came a group of
kindergarten kids running to the parking lot. An ice cream truck was
parked not too far from the open door and...

"Do not cry Pepito. Show these people that you are brave. It is a rare opportunity for me to die for our country. Not everybody is given that chance."

Saying attributed to Supreme Court Justice Jose Abad Santos of San Fernando, Pampanga when he was captured with his son and was interrogated by the Japanese in 1942.
