Welcome Kabalen!
Malaus kayu pu ikayu ngan kaluguran ning Bambanense.com. Welcome everyone to this privately-owned website dedicated to my hometown, Bamban, the southernmost town of the province of Tarlac in the Philippines. This is not a government website but my privately-owned website, which was born out of my pride for my hometown, Bamban. All who share my love, respect and cherished memories of Bamban are welcomed to this site, not just as bystanders, but as community members, free to e-mail me their contributions or ideas just as others have done before them. We reserve the right to edit all contributions because this is a public site. Kabalen, ekayu pu mag adwang isip at i-share yo sa deng talents yu kareng kekatamung kabalen. Male yu at pota ma-post nia kabud ing kekayung sinulat o kinuang letratu kening website tamu?
I had the idea of a website back in the early nineties when the world wide web was opened to ordinary folks like me. When my sister, Jenny, started her graphic/web design firm, we tossed the idea around, kicked it a few times, and looked at each other and said, "Why not?" From its humble beginnings as a mere idea, it has blossomed into a virtual community for all Bambanenses all over the world. If we can't be in Bamban, at least we can enjoy our hometown as a virtual community.
Enjoy our site and the contributions of the proud citizens of Bamban, Tarlac- the Bambanenses currently living and working in Bamban and in various parts of the world.
